Lorikeets are part of a species of parrot widely found in Australia. It is most common along the eastern seaboard
Lorikeets prefer to nest in natural hollows of trees, although artificial nestboxes are easily accepted provided they are of the correct size.
Both designs of our box are the same internal and external dimensions, however have slightly different entrance hole diameters depending on which species the box is provided for.
Boxes are screwed and glued to minimise water ingress and maximise useful lifespan. Drain holes in the floor are provided as are drainholes in the spout to reduce water ingress during storms.
Lorikeet nestboxes are supplied fully assembled and include hanging wire and tree protector as standard.
