Pardalote
Pardalote Nestbox
Pardalotes are a family of very small, brightly coloured birds native to Australia, with short tails, strong legs, and stubby blunt beaks.
They naturally nest by digging a small tunnel into a mudbank and forming a small nesting cavity at the end. Our box design aims to mimic this by providing a narrow entrance tunnel leading into a small chamber.
Boxes are screwed and glued to minimise water ingress and maximise useful lifespan. Drain holes in the floor are provided.
Pardalote nestboxes are supplied fully assembled and include hanging wire and tree protector as standard.
